Mad About Swing's Summer Dance (NEW FORMAT!) This date was originally going to be our performance social but this has been rearranged for July 12th. Our Summer Dance will now take the form of a standard freestyle with social dancing and a fun lesson to suit all abilities. Free alcoholic and soft drinks throughout the evening (while they last... although we don't intend for them to run out!) Don your glad rags and join the party. St Matthias Church from 7.30pm until 11pm. Earlybird price £7 (students £5.50) before 24th May, thereafter £8 in advance (students £6.50) or £10 on the door (students £7.50) |

Mad About Practice A morning of social swing dancing and informal teaching. Fed up of trying to practise in the confines of a small lounge or do you have no partner to practise with at all? ...then this is for you! You are welcome to drop in any time – Duncan and Louise will be available to help you with moves but also plan to work on their own dancing for some of the session. Only £2 (to contribute towards hall hire). St Matthias Hall 10.00 – 11.30am |

Mad About Swing at Annabel's Duncan and Louise will be performing between sets by Swing Band ‘The Sultans of Swing’. The evening begins at 10pm. |
| Saturday 12th July: |
Mad About Swing's Performance Ball (ALTERED DATE!) Owing to the success of our performance ball in March, we have decided to host a sequel. This time the acts will convey a ‘History of Swing’. During the first hour there will be a number of swing routines performed by various groups, intermingled with video footage and brief commentary. The rest of the evening will comprise social dancing as usual with a short fun lesson. All of your alcoholic and soft drinks are included in the price. St Matthias Church from 7.30pm until 11pm. Earlybird price £7 (students £5.50) before 28th June, thereafter £8 in advance (students £6.50) or £10 on the door (students £7.50). |

Mad About Swing's Christmas Bash A swingin' festive dance with the return of awesome live music from the highly talented Jaspers Jazz Septet. The evening begins with a jolly merry class to get you in the mood, followed by social dancing to the best lindy tunes from past and present. Mad About Swing 'Transition' Workshop Aimed at beginners who wish to transition to the improver class and anyone who wants to work on their core moves. We will be breaking down the basic, circle and swingout, as well as covering a few other tools to improve your overall confidence on the dancefloor. Advanced bookings only – limited to 10 leads and 10 follows. £7 each or book as a 'couple' for £12. St Matthias Hall 1pm – 4pm. |

Duncan and Louise will be there to offer a helping hand if you'd like any tips to improve your dancing. 10am to 12pm at St Matthias Church.
